SAOIRSE

Free Your Purpose

1-1 Mentoring & Training Programme

‘SAOIRSE’…

Saoirse [n.] (“Sare-sha” or “Sur-sha”) means freedom, liberty, immunity; from Old Irish saírse, it also means art and artisanship.

Freedom and artistic expression were born from the same word for our ancestors. This is no coincidence—they understood that true freedom comes through creative expression of our deepest selves. Saoirse invites us to follow the path of our dán.

The Old Irish word, dán holds a multitude of meanings: the poetry within us, a creative or artistic skill, a calling, destiny, or fate—a soul’s unique gift. It was understood as both a purpose bestowed upon us by the divine and a gift that we offer back to the divine by living it. Each step we take to live into our dán is a step away from the overculture and toward our soul’s becoming.

We have a responsibility to answer this call even amidst the squall of modern life. For our ancestors, this was about embodying their purpose not hiding from it. No one was permitted to enter the royal capital of the Tuatha Dé Danann (Tribe of the Goddess Danu) at the citadel of Tara unless they were devoted to their dán. When the god Lugh arrives at the kingdom, the gatekeeper says:

‘What art do you practice?

For no one without an art enters Tara.’

‘The soul of each of us is given a unique daimon before we are born, and it has selected an image or pattern that we live on earth. This soul-companion, the daimon, guides us here in the process of arrival, however, we forget all that took place and believe we come empty into this world. The daimon remembers what is in your image and belongs to your pattern, therefore the daimon is the carrier of your destiny.’

celtic soul Aesthetic

The Sheela na Gig card in my upcoming Celtic Dream Oracle: Ancient Symbols to Guide Your Modern Life

So how do we live into our dán?

We do so by making Celtic Soul a living aesthetic. A living aesthetic is a way of life that emphasises beauty, creative expression, and devotion in how we choose to be in the world. The Celtic Soul Aesthetic centres the soul in the everyday experience of life. It means putting your soul’s needs first, prioritising soul-care as self-care.

Your soul is your higher self, your essence, the timeless, eternal you. Your soul is accompanied in life by what the Greeks called a ‘daimon’, the Romans called a ‘genius’, the Christians called a ‘guardian angel’, and many First Nations call your ‘spirit’, your ‘animal soul’, or your ‘breath soul’. In the Celtic tradition, this is your anam chara, your ‘soul friend’, the destiny-bearer part of yourself that wants you to live out your dán.

Will you give yourself the saoirse, the freedom to live it?

‘Working with Jen is truly an alchemical process. This work has a way of tunneling through you in the softest of ways. When I started the program I felt lost, fearful, angry and uncertain; I had a vision for what I wanted in life but was at a crossroads of having to be brave or let it go. The container provided me with an arsenal of incredible tools that not only helped me make sense of the uncertain but also deepened my connection to spirit, heritage, ancestors, and what feels purposeful in my life. I have learned so many new skills and I struggle to describe how much this has truly enriched my life. Not only am I changed but I have learned so much. Jen is absolutely brilliant- truly a well of knowledge. She is incredibly organized yet flexible, grounded yet excited and full of ideas. How she constructed the container was fine tuned to my needs and she always had resources and reflections at the ready. During my journey I doubled down on what was most important to me, followed where the energy wanted to go and my creative projects are making headway, I signed a lease on my dream building for my business and my life is blooming in so many ways. I am full of gratitude and wonder. Thank you, Jen!’

The Programme

The Crow Goddess card in Celtic Dream Oracle

My dán is to help you make Celtic Soul Aesthetic a way of life so that you can uncover pathways towards your own dán, your own creative destiny. I have offered many different courses over the years, and it is now time for me to offer direct mentoring in this work to those who are ready to share this message as multipliers. This is for you if you desire to offer this work in your own unique way to our world.

The dream of Saoirse is twofold:

  1. Devoting yourself to living into your own flavour of Celtic Soul Aesthetic and, in doing so, cultivating powerful pathways to your dán.

  2. Mentoring in my work so that you can develop your own Celtic Soul Aesthetic to offer to others.

Saoirse is a one-to-one (not a group) programme so that you will receive my dedicated support over 9 months—thrice the sacred triple and the time it takes to conceive, gestate, and birth a new life. It is equal parts intensive as it is expansive and metamorphosing.

It takes immense courage and inner-work to step out of the overculture and into your dán, and this process is never fully complete, it is the purpose of life. I have lived it and am still living it in imperfect grace, and I can tell you I would never trade my purpose because that is trading my soul. The magic and wonder of my life far outweighs what it has taken to get here. I adore my work.

As part of this programme you will receive bi-weekly one-hour-long mentoring sessions, a rich cauldron of 18 sessions in total.

INVESTMENT

‘I say that love, Eros, is a being. It is more than a power of the soul, though it is that also; it has a universal life of its own, and just as the dark heaving waters do not know what jewel lights they reflect with blinding radiance, so the soul, partially absorbing and feeling the ray of Eros within it, does not know that often a part of its nature nearer to the sun of love shines with brilliant light to other eyes than its own. Many people move unconscious of their own charm, unknowing of the beauty and power they seem to others to impart.
